Hello, My Name is Daniel

I was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. I started cycling as a way to get around town, and soon after, it became my passion. I began working at a fitness center, where I obtained several certifications, such as indoor cycling and TRX. Later, I joined the Major Taylor Cycling Club’s New York and New Jersey charter, as well as Jersey City’s bike advocacy organization, Bike JC, to continue promoting alternative forms of safe transportation. During the pandemic shutdowns, I was averaging 300 miles a week. Cycling was such an amazing experience that I founded “Bikes Will Save The World” to promote cycling and fitness during that time. Shortly thereafter, I obtained my personal training certification through the National Federation of Personal Trainers and have been working as a full-time exercise specialist with United Health. I have also been teaching fitness classes at Crunch Gym. I remain athletically active by participating in Spartan races, local half marathons, and rides with various cycling clubs.
